Comedy Cabaret event, in memory of comedy poet Brendan Higgins.

A relaxed afternoon comedy cabaret gig in the style of Sunday Xpress; a monthly event in Birmingham since the 1990s. To include a variety of local comedians of various experience and some comedy music too. All in memory of the late comedy poet Brendan Higgins, AKA ‘Big Bren’ and fondly remembered as ‘The Bard of Birmingham”. Bren believed everyone could pursue their dream to perform and encouraged many to do so, at Sunday Xpress; a safe and supportive space. Join us as local comics, his family and his friends, come together to remember him.

We’ll celebrate the art of comedy and the joy of making one another laugh.

Acts include Alan Gray, Alan Hughes, Bundy, Globe, Bom and his Magic Drumstick, Ian Cheese and Random Alice, plus MC Rachel Lucy Day, and more guests TBC.
